During the summer holidays we offer French language courses in Montpellier, a place where the sun is almost always shining. Montpellier is also one of the fastest-growing cities in France thanks to its high quality universities and with a unique contrast between the modern districts and the old town. For students from 11 to 16 years, language courses take place in a private French college, a ten minute walk from the centre and 30 minutes to the beach ‘Palavas’ by public transport. We go to the beach ‘Palavas’ for a swim, to play beach volleyball or tennis. When you arrive, a welcome party will take place and we will explore the city together. In addition, we go for a half-day trip to the 'Lac du Crès’ sea , or visit the beautiful harbour town, Sète. At the weekend we go on day trips, for example to Avignon ‘Demoiselles’ or to the exotic park ‘La Bambouseraie’. In the afternoons we will organise football-, basketball- or volleyball tournaments or go swimming in the Olympic swimming hall in Montpellier. In the evenings our school team organises movie nights, karaoke events, and a big farewell party.

Our LISA! Language courses for teenagers are perfectly organised and supervised. In our school in Montpellier, your child will learn or improve his or her language skills in a friendly and cosy atmosphere. Your son or daughter will be supervised by the host families, the school team as well as our team leaders, who are always available for help and advice. During his or her stay, your child will be accommodated with a friendly host family or in the school residence.

On arrival, your child will be welcomed by our group leaders or by his or her host family. On the first day, a language test takes place. Groups are formed on the basis of language levels therefore, teenagers are usually with others of a similar age. This guarantees excellent and successful learning. With a LISA! language course you will open your child to a whole new world and give them the chance to broaden their horizons. We also prepare your child for his or her final exams or help to improve school marks.

After classes, our great group leaders and the school team will provide your child with a wide range of free-time activities. At the weekends the school organises day or half-day trips. Your child has the opportunity to spend the remaining time with his or her host family. Please be aware that there are times when your children may be unsupervised. However, our school team is always at disposal.

Arrival »

Flights are not included in the price of our language courses for teenagers. We recommend flying to Nîmes or Montpellier airport. Although we do not provide a chaperone service for the flight itself, our friendly school team will greet all students upon arrival at the destination airport and accompany them to their accommodation. Transfers to/from Montpellier airport and train station are already included in the price. For an extra fee it is possible to book a transfer from  the bus station of Montpellier or Nîmes airport.  Should your child travel with the UM service, an extra transfer cost may apply.
