Our language school is located approximately 5 minutes on foot from the centre of Orbetello, while the beach can be reached in around 20 minutes on foot.

Learn Italian in Orbetello

Our Italian language courses in Orbetello are suitable for children and teenagers aged 13 to 17 years.

• Main Course (Ages 13–17):
  20 group lessons of 55 minutes each per week.

• Course start dates 2027:

The teaching groups are organised according to age. Friends and siblings travelling together can be placed in the same language course if they have a similar language level. All language levels are available.

Leisure Programme

Our comprehensive leisure programme is an integral part of every language course and is already included in the course price. It combines time at the beach, excursions and a wide variety of shared activities.

In the afternoons, we explore the town and its surroundings on foot and by bicycle. At the nearby beach, students can take part in many sporting activities.

At the weekend, a full-day excursion takes us, for example, to Rome or to Isola del Giglio.

During the language course, our juniors stay with carefully selected host families on a full-board basis. Our host families are excellent, hand-picked and have been welcoming students for many years.

• Bed linen provided; students should bring their own towels

Allergies and special dietary requirements can be accommodated well within the Mediterranean cuisine. The average journey to school is approximately 10 minutes on foot.

Getting there:

Please book a flight ticket to Rome for your child. The flight journey takes place without accompaniment.

• Arrival:
  Sundays between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

• Departure:
  Saturdays between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

• Airport transfer:
  Included in the course price

A transfer service from Florence Airport as well as from Rome Central Railway Station is also available for an additional charge. Students are warmly welcomed by our friendly school team at the airport or railway station and accompanied to their host family.

At the airport in Rome, our children and teenagers are personally welcomed and accompanied directly to their accommodation. At this moment, parents know: their child has arrived safely.

By when should I book Orbetello for my child?

Please book as early as possible. Our most popular course dates for Easter and summer are often fully booked as early as January. Ideally, you should book a language holiday for young learners in December for the following Easter or summer holidays. At many of our destinations, we can also arrange bookings at very short notice. However, the main limitation is usually the availability of flights. The later you book, the more expensive flight tickets are likely to be. Please give us a call and let our team provide you with detailed advice.

How much free time will my child have?

During a language course in Orbetello, children have periods of free time that they may organise themselves. Please note that there are times when your children are unsupervised.

How much does a language course to Orbetello cost?

A two-week language course with 20 Italian lessons per week and accommodation with full board costs 2199 £. The great leisure programme, airport transfer, language course and accommodation are included in the course price.

Can I be in the same class as my friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, brother or sister?

Placement is based on Italian language level as well as age. Normally, it is always possible for students travelling together to be placed in the same class.

Can my child manage the journey to school?

Several students stay with the same host family. This has the advantage that journeys to school can be made together. The school is within walking distance of the host families.

Is there a placement test at the beginning of the language programme?

Yes, a placement assessment takes place in advance. Students are then assigned to the appropriate language level.

When does payment have to be made?

Upon conclusion of the contract (after receiving the travel confirmation and the security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the travel price is due, with a minimum amount of £200, plus any insurance premiums. The remaining balance of the travel price must be paid 28 days before departure. Parents will find all relevant information on the invoice.
