Learn Italian in Salerno Close to the Sea
Italian language lessons take place in the heart of Salerno on the campus of Convitto Nazionale, a local school in Salerno. Lessons are conducted entirely in Italian, helping students achieve rapid language progress.

Our Italian language courses in Salerno are suitable for children and teenagers aged 14 to 17 years.

Leisure programme
The Extensive LISA! Leisure Programme
Our comprehensive leisure programme is an integral part of every student language programme and is already included in the course price. It combines time at the beach, excursions and a wide range of shared activities.
Students enjoy excursions to the beach and museums, play beach volleyball and football, and celebrate together at our welcome party.
We also visit the ancient archaeological site of Paestum, learn how to cook Italian dishes and take part in pottery workshops.

By when should I book Salerno for my child?

How much free time will my child have?
During a language programme in Salerno, children have periods of free time that they may organise themselves. Please note that there are times when your children are unsupervised.

How much does a language trip to Salerno cost?
A two-week language trip with 20 Italian lessons per week and accommodation in the residence with full board costs 2399 £. The extensive leisure programme, airport transfer, language course and accommodation are included in the course price.

Can I be in the same class as my friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, brother or sister?
Placement is based on Italian language level as well as age. Normally, it is always possible for students travelling together to be placed in the same class.

Can my child manage the journey to school?
All teenagers stay in the residence. This has the advantage that students can walk to school together. The residence is only a few minutes from the language school.

Is there a placement test at the beginning of the language programme?
Yes, a placement assessment takes place in advance. Students are then assigned to the appropriate language level.

When does payment have to be made?
Upon conclusion of the contract (after receiving the travel confirmation and the security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the travel price is due, with a minimum amount of £200, plus any insurance premiums. The remaining balance of the travel price must be paid 28 days before departure. Parents will find all relevant information on the invoice.
