Discover Málaga through beach time and city life
| Leisure activity | Description |
|---|---|
| Welcome Party | Meet new boys and girls and start the language trip together |
| Museum Visits | Culture. Sounds like school. In Málaga, however, it is surprisingly enjoyable |
| Beach Excursions | Lessons are over. Three minutes later: feet in the sand. Sun, sea and the group. The Mediterranean beach becomes the meeting place |
| Swimming & Beach Volleyball | Sea, ball and sunshine. If you stay dry, you're doing something wrong |
| Football & Bowling | Sport, action and quick connections with international students |
| Water Park Excursion | Slide down, scream, climb back up. Then do it all again |
| Excursion to the Caves | 30 degrees outside. A completely different world inside. Fun with the group |
| Botanical Garden | Time to chat while walking through one of Málaga's most beautiful gardens |
| Excursion to Granada, Seville or Córdoba | Day trips to some of Andalusia's most important cities. Perfect photo opportunities |
The extensive LISA! leisure programme is an important part of the learning experience and, as with all our language programmes for students, is both mandatory and deliberately designed to remain open and flexible. Connections develop almost naturally: conversations, shared laughter and new friendships. This is where self-confidence, language skills and many abilities that last a lifetime continue to grow. Students often describe it as “the best time of their lives.”

"In 30 years, not a single child has gone missing with us. The beach and the sea are very safe and permanently supervised. In Málaga, people also tend to look out for one another, especially when it comes to children and teenagers."

Language Travel Expert Elke Greim:
LISA! Sprachreisen has been owner-managed since its foundation in 1992 and has more than 30 years of experience in organising language travel programmes.
"Many parents ask me whether a language trip to Málaga is suitable for their child. Málaga offers excellent conditions for every child: a safe coastal city, short distances to the beach and an international student atmosphere in which Spanish is spoken naturally in everyday life. Málaga is my recommendation when you are looking for something other than English."
Yours sincerely,
Elke Greim

FAQ
Customer Questions and Answers (FAQ)
-
When should I book Málaga for my child?
-
How much freedom will my child have?
Málaga is a beautiful city by the sea. Your child will spend most of the day attending lessons and participating in leisure activities, but there will also be opportunities for independent free time.
-
Is a language trip suitable for my child?
Absolutely. Every child brings their own personality, strengths and pace of learning – and that is exactly what makes an international group so enriching. Being part of a community of peers creates an environment in which different personalities can find their place and often surpass their own expectations.
-
How much does a language trip to Málaga cost?
A two-week language trip with 20 Spanish lessons per week and accommodation in a host family in a shared room with full board costs £1,519. The extensive leisure programme, airport transfer, language course and accommodation are all included in the programme price.
-
Is there a placement test before the course begins?
Yes. A placement test takes place on the first day of school. Students are then assigned to the language level that best matches their abilities.
-
When do I have to pay?
Upon conclusion of the travel contract (after receiving the booking confirmation and financial security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the programme price, with a minimum payment of £200, plus any applicable insurance premiums, is required. The remaining balance must be paid 28 days before departure. Full payment details are provided on the invoice.

Parents who, after reading about our Language Programmes for Students in Málaga, feel inspired to take part in a language programme themselves can find the ideal option under Language Programmes in Málaga for Adults, the direct counterpart to this junior programme. Most of our adult language programmes are accredited for educational leave. Parents who have booked a language programme in Málaga for their child often choose a student language programme in Barcelona, Cádiz or San Sebastián the following year. Parents who would like their children to learn Romance languages often combine a language programme in Málaga with a junior language programme in Antibes on the French Riviera or in Florence, Italy. Older students aged 16 and above can often participate in adult language programmes, which are generally more affordable because they do not include organised activity programmes or intensive supervision.
After completing secondary school, it is possible to learn the Romance languages fluently within a year through our language programmes.
