Oxford is decorated with Victorian buildings, which have been turned into small shops, cosy cafes and inviting restaurants. On the Thames, there are famous, yearly rowing competitions between the Oxford and Cambridge students. There are many small cities nearby like Salisbury and the legendary stone ring Stonehenge with its mighty megaliths. Oxford is home to one of the oldest universities in Great Britain, which has brought academic excellence yearly for 900 years. The city stands as one of the most important university cities in the whole of Great Britain. After lessons our students spend their time in the city centre. We go to museums, to the botanical gardens or breathe in the college air with a tour around the University of Oxford. During the evening we do karaoke, we go to the cinema or host quiz evenings. Once every weekend there are day trips to London, Bath, Salisbury or Windsor. The school regularly organises half day trips to the Cotswold, to the zoo and to the Blenheim Palace, which belongs to the biggest and most well-known locksmiths in England.
