Together with students from all over the world, you recieve language lessons in a lovely, musical city on the English west coast. Bristol lies at the estuary of the Avon River in southern England. It only takes 20 minutes on foot to the city centre from our college in the charming Clifton district. Bristol is well known for its music scenes: numerous concerts and festivals take place here in summer. Famous bands and actors come from here like the famous animation figures Wallace & Gromit or the secretive graffiti artist Banksy. The town is colourful, dreamy and trendy - come with us!

LISA! language courses are perfectly organised, supportive and modern language courses for children and teenagers abroad. Your child will be warmly welcomed to our school in Bristol. Our guides and the school team are always available as contact persons. In the date calendar you will find the start dates for our courses. During the language course, the students will stay in a residence on the school campus of Clifton College. In Bristol we also offer language courses for adults. For information regarding our English courses for adults please click 'adult'. Our supervised language courses for students are high achieving premium programmes. If you would like a low cost course for your child (from 16 years), then there is also the opportunity to have an adult language course without a supervised free time programme.

Your LISA! Language course in Bristol - Clifton College »

On the first day of the LISA! language course your child will be warmly welcomed by our guides of the language school. On the first school day, a language test takes place. Groups are formed on the basis of language levels therefore, teenagers are usually with others of a similar age. This guarantees excellent and successful learning. This guarantees excellent and successful learning. With a LISA! language course you will open your child to a whole new world and give them the chance to broaden their horizons. We also prepare your child for his or her final exams or help them to improve school marks. After classes, our great group leaders and the school team will provide your child with a wide range of free-time activities. On the weekends the school organises day or half-day trips. Your child has the opportunity to spend the remaining time with his or her host family. Please be aware that there will be times when your children may be unsupervised.

Arrival »

We will happily book your child a low cost teenage ticket to Bristol or London. The transfers from Bristol or London Heathrow are included in the price. Arrivals are anytime on Tuesdays. Please note that the flight is unsupervised. Since there is a group transfer, you should expect waiting times. Your son or daughter will be warmly welcomed at the airport by our guides and taken to their accommodation.
