How much does a language trip to Los Angeles – Santa Monica cost?
A two-week trip in a single room with breakfast in a host family costs £1489.

Is there a placement test at the start of the trip?
Yes. On the first day there is a placement test. You will then be placed in the appropriate level (A0 to C2).

Do I need a visa for the USA?
In general, all travellers need an electronic passport, a valid return or onward ticket, and either an ESTA travel authorisation or a visa. For stays of up to 12 weeks with fewer than 18 clock hours of lessons per week, an ESTA is sufficient. For courses from 18 clock hours per week and/or stays of 12 weeks or more, you will need the F-1 Student Visa. This visa must be applied for in person at the embassies/consulates. You can only apply after booking, as you will need the original I-20 form from our school. If you require a visa, please register for your course in good time. Processing usually takes 6–8 weeks. Please note that health insurance is mandatory for the USA. Further information is available from the US Embassy.

When do I have to pay?
On conclusion of the contract (after receipt of the booking confirmation and the security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the total price is due, at least £200, plus any insurance premiums. The remaining balance is payable 28 days before departure.
