4. Lessons:
   Our Spanish courses in Barcelona are suitable for teenagers aged 13 to 17. Lessons are grouped by age and take place in the mornings. In Barcelona, students may combine their Spanish course with optional afternoon activities such as dance, sports, football or water sports. Afternoon options include flamenco, cycling, beach sports, football camp and a wide range of water activities.
5. Accommodation:
   Your son or daughter will stay with a host family or in a residence. Students receive full board.
6. Supervision:
   All our young learners’ language programmes are supervised programmes. After lessons, the school organises a varied leisure programme in the afternoons and evenings. Weekends are reserved for activities with the host family. Please note that there are short intervals during which students are unsupervised, for example on the way to school. We will be happy to advise you.
7. Learning success:
   A high level of learning success distinguishes our language courses. Progress is ensured by carefully selecting the best qualified Spanish teachers, all specially trained to teach Spanish as a foreign language. Lessons are conducted entirely in Spanish.
8. Leisure programme:
   The extensive LISA! leisure programme is included in the price. At the long Marbella beach, students swim in the Mediterranean, play beach tennis or compete in beach volleyball tournaments. Together with their group leaders, they explore the fairytale buildings and the famous Parc Güell created by Antoni Gaudí. We stroll along the lively shopping boulevard Las Ramblas and explore the Maremagnum shopping centre. We enjoy traditional Spanish churros, ride roller coasters at Port Aventura, dance at our own disco evenings, celebrate parties or admire the colourful water displays at the Montjuïc fountains. The leisure programme is an essential part of the teaching concept and contributes greatly to learning success.
9. Quality standards:
   Our language school is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes. All teachers specialise in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
10. Arrival:
    Please book a flight to Barcelona. Flights are unaccompanied. To use the free transfer service, arrival must be on Sunday between 10:00 and 22:00, and departure on Saturday between 10:00 and 22:00. Outside these times, a transfer fee applies. At the airport, your son or daughter will be warmly welcomed by our team and accompanied to the accommodation. When should I book Barcelona for my child?
Please book as early as possible. Popular course dates are often fully booked by January for Easter and summer. Ideally, you should book in December for the following holiday period. In many destinations, we can organise short-notice bookings; the main bottleneck tends to be flights. The later you book, the more expensive the airfare usually is. Please call us for detailed advice.

How much free time will my child have?
Barcelona is a beautiful large city by the sea. Your child will be occupied with lessons and activities during the day but will also have some opportunities to organise their own free time.

How much does a language trip to Barcelona cost?
A two-week course with 20 lessons per week and accommodation with a host family in a single or double room with full board costs £1699. The leisure programme, airport transfer, course and accommodation are included in the price.

Is there a placement test at the beginning of the course?
Yes. On the first school day, students take a placement test and are assigned to the appropriate level.

When do I have to pay?
Upon receiving your booking confirmation and the security certificate, a deposit of 20% of the course price is due – at least £200 – plus any insurance premiums. The remaining balance must be paid 28 days before departure. All details can be found on the invoice.
