Our extra options include scuba diving, sailing or professional tennis lessons. REASONS FOR A STUDENT LANGUAGE TRIP TO NICE – CAMPUS:

1. Directly by the sea:
   In Nice our students can look forward to sun, beach and sea. The Côte d’Azur in the south of France is known for sunny beaches and turquoise water. The extensive leisure programme and all excursions are already included in the price. Lessons take place at our student residences, with the sea not far away.
2. Exclusive:
   Your French course in summer takes place on the lovely Eucalyptus campus, a few minutes’ walk from the beach, or on the Parc Imperial campus. You can reach the city centre in a few minutes by public transport or the school’s free shuttle. Nice has broad boulevards and narrow lanes with inviting cafés and boutiques that are perfect for a stroll.
3. Supervision:
   All our junior language courses are by the sea and are supervised programmes. Supervision is provided by host families, teachers and staff in the residences. There are intervals, for example on the way to school, when your children are independent and not supervised. We will advise you in detail.

1. The lessons:
   Our Nice – Campus programmes are suitable for children (12 to 14) and teenagers (15 to 17). Classes are arranged by age. We offer a standard course with lessons in the morning and an intensive course with lessons in the morning and afternoon. In summer, lessons take place in the residence; outside summer they are held at our language school in Nice.
2. Accommodation:
   Your son or daughter will stay with a friendly French-speaking host family or in one of our student residences in a shared room. Students receive full board, i.e. breakfast and a hot dinner; lunch is in the cafeteria, with packed lunches on excursion days.
3. Quality standards:
   All teachers specialise in teaching their native language, French, as a foreign language. Our school is recognised by Campus France and the Rectorat de Nice, and is a member of SOUFFLE, FLE and ELITE.
4. Arrival:
   Flights are not included in the prices of our language courses for teenagers. We recommend flying to Nice airport. Please note that travel is unaccompanied. Arrival is on Sundays, departure on Saturdays. At the airport or station your son or daughter will be warmly met and taken to their accommodation. The outward transfer on Sundays and the return transfer on Saturdays are included in the price. Should your child travel with the UM service, extra transfer costs may apply.
    

The great LISA! leisure programme on the Nice campus – all-inclusive 

The extensive LISA! leisure programme is included in the price, forms part of the teaching concept and makes a major contribution to learning success. It consists of parties, excursions and many shared activities by the sea. The programme is adjusted on site at short notice to reflect students’ interests. It complements the course perfectly and contributes significantly to progress.

When should I book Nice for my child?
Please book as early as you can. Popular dates are often fully booked by January for Easter and summer. Ideally, book in December for the following Easter or summer holidays. In some locations we can also arrange very late bookings. The flight is usually the tricky part. The later you book, the more expensive the ticket tends to be. Please call us for detailed advice.

How much free time will my child have?
Distances are short and easy to manage. Your child will be busy all day with lessons and activities.

How much does a language trip to Nice – Campus cost?
A two-week trip with 20 French lessons per week and full-board accommodation in a residence in a shared room costs £2199. The extensive leisure programme, all airport transfers, the course and the accommodation are included in the price.

Can I share a room with my friend/boyfriend/girlfriend/brother/sister?
We are happy to arrange shared accommodation for friends or family members.

Is there a placement test at the start of the language trip?
Yes, a placement takes place on the first day. Students are then placed in the appropriate level.

When do I have to pay?
On conclusion of the contract (after receipt of the booking confirmation and the security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the total price is due, at least £200, plus any insurance premiums. The remaining balance is payable 28 days before departure. Parents will find all the details on the invoice.
