Customer questions and answers:

What should you make sure to do in Malta?
Malta is full of life and ways to make your stay rich and varied. Tastes differ, of course: a meal out, a grand harbour cruise in Sliema, a trip to the Blue Grotto, wandering the historic lanes of Valletta (15 minutes from Sliema by ferry or bus), Mdina & Rabat, and relaxing at the Sliema Beach Club are some of the things you shouldn’t miss. Night owls are in their element in Malta.

Are bed linen and towels provided?
Host families provide towels and bed linen. We recommend bringing a small towel of your own. Most host families offer laundry facilities.

When do I need to book by?
In most cases we can also arrange last-minute bookings. The sticking point is usually the flight. We recommend booking at least two weeks before departure.

How much does a language trip to Malta cost?
A two-week language trip in summer with host family accommodation costs £1049 for a single room with breakfast (B&B). The cost of living in Malta is lower than in Germany. Malta is the most affordable way to learn English abroad.

When do lessons take place?
At our school, courses run in the morning, afternoon or evening. Lessons start at 9.00, 13.00 or 17.00. When booking, you’re welcome to tell us your preferred time.

Do I need a visa for Malta?
German citizens need a valid identity card to enter Malta. Further information and guidance is available from the Federal Foreign Office.

Are these language trips suitable for school pupils?
The information on this page is aimed at adults. Please click for language courses for teenagers to Malta.

Is there a placement test at the start of the language trip?
Yes, a placement takes place on the first day. You will then be allocated to the appropriate level (A1 to C2).

Can I be in the same class as my travel companion to learn English?
That’s no problem, provided your language levels aren’t markedly different.

Can I book the course without accommodation?
Yes, we’ll be happy to quote you the price without accommodation.

When do I have to pay?
On conclusion of the contract (after receipt of the booking confirmation and the security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the total price is due, at least £200, plus any insurance premiums. The remaining balance is payable 28 days before departure.
