REASONS FOR A LISA! STUDENT LANGUAGE TRIP TO MONTRÉAL:
- Top course location & setting:
Here, on Sherbrooke Street, glass façades meet cobblestones, luxury boutiques meet record shops. And our language school? Right in the middle of it all. While moose wander through endless forests outside the city, urban life thrives here: designers launch collections, students listen to street music, and anyone who speaks French speaks it with style – preferably with a crêpe in hand. - International students:
LISA! Language Courses is one of the few providers with its own advisory offices in Italy, Spain, Scandinavia and beyond. The result? International groups, not one single-class mix of just one nationality. Every year Montreal becomes a meeting place for students from all over the world – with French learning included. - The lessons:
Learning French in Canada: 18 lessons per week, 45 minutes each. In small groups, students practise speaking, discussing and thinking – all in French. Clear goals: confident speaking, quick understanding, practical application. Lesson times: afternoons from 2.30 pm to 5.15 pm. French or English – focused, efficient, at the highest level. - Supervision:
All our student language trips are supervised programmes. Before lessons in the morning and in the evenings, the school organises a leisure programme for the students. Weekends are reserved for half-day or full-day excursions. Please note that there are times when your children will be unsupervised, for example on the way to school. We will be happy to give you full advice. - Accommodation:
Your son or daughter will stay either in a residence close to the school or with a host family. The residence offers twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a cafeteria, a fitness room and a lounge. All students receive full board, with packed lunches provided on excursion days. - Learning success:
Maximum learning success – guaranteed by excellent teaching staff: our courses are taught by some of the best French teachers in Canada, specially trained in teaching French as a foreign language.

Customer questions and answers:
Until when do I need to book Montreal for my child?
In most cases, we can also arrange last-minute bookings. The difficulty is usually finding a flight. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks before departure.
How much free time will my child have?
Your child will be busy all day with lessons and leisure activities, but will still have the opportunity to enjoy some free time independently. Parents who would prefer a more sheltered environment may consider our language trips to France in Antibes or on the Loire in Saint Denis where both lessons and accommodation are located on a closed campus.
How much does a language trip to Montreal cost?
A 2-week language trip with 18 English lessons per week and accommodation in the residence in a twin room with full board costs £2199. The extensive leisure programme, all airport transfers, the course and accommodation are included in the price.
Can I share a room with my friend/brother/sister?
We are happy to arrange shared accommodation for friends or family members.
Is there a placement test at the beginning of the course?
Yes, a placement test is carried out on the first day of school. Students are then placed in the appropriate level group.
When do I have to pay?
When the contract is concluded (after receiving the booking confirmation and the security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the total price, at least £200, plus any insurance premiums, becomes due. The remaining balance must be paid 28 days before departure. Parents will find all the relevant details on the invoice.
