LANGUAGE COURSES in Salina – Beach Resort
English Language Courses for Students Aged 10 to 17
Our English language courses for students are part of our student language travel programmes in Malta – Salina Beach. They are designed for children and teenagers who want to learn English in a supervised learning environment and systematically improve their language skills through structured lessons. The courses are suitable for beginners (A0) through to advanced learners (C2). We also offer English language courses in Malta-Sliema and St. Julian’s.

Language courses
Main Course English Juniors (10–13 years)
The Main Course Juniors is designed for students aged 10 to 13 who would like to learn English in a supervised and age-appropriate learning environment. The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as for students who already have some basic knowledge of English.

Students attend 20 group lessons per week, with each lesson lasting 45 minutes. The course focuses on vocabulary, grammar, listening comprehension and, above all, active speaking.

Classes consist of an average of 12 students, with a maximum of 15 participants. This ensures plenty of opportunities for oral participation, regular revision and confident language practice.

The course is available for all levels, from complete beginners (A0) to advanced learners (C2). It provides a structured introduction to the English language while helping students gain confidence in practical communication.
Learning success is achieved through a clear lesson structure, close supervision and many opportunities to use English actively within the group.
Main Course English Teenagers (14–17 years)
The Main Course Teenagers is the classic English course for students aged 14 to 17. It is designed for participants who want to strengthen, expand and actively use their English skills in class.

Students attend 20 group lessons of 45 minutes each per week. The course focuses on vocabulary, grammar, listening comprehension and fluent spoken communication.

The international classes consist of an average of 12 students, with a maximum of 15 participants. This creates a lively learning environment with many opportunities for conversation and regular language practice.

The course is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners (A0) to advanced learners (C2). The English course in Malta is ideal both for students with limited knowledge and for learners who want to develop their language skills further through practical use.
Learning success is achieved through regular language training, active participation in lessons and the direct use of English within the group.
Super Intensive English Course Teenagers (14–17 years)
The Super Intensive Course is designed for students aged 14 to 17 who want to learn English particularly intensively in a short period of time. With a higher number of lessons, the course is ideal for participants who wish to improve their skills more quickly and speak English more frequently.

Students attend 30 group lessons of 45 minutes each per week. The course focuses on vocabulary, grammar, listening comprehension, language confidence and active speaking.

As in the Main Course, the classes are international and consist of an average of 12 students, with a maximum of 15 participants. The additional lesson time provides more practice, more revision and more opportunities to use English actively.

The course is suitable for students from level A1 upwards. It is ideal for learners who want to strengthen and expand their English skills through intensive language training.
Learning progress is greater than in the Main Course because participants receive more lesson time and have more frequent opportunities to use English actively.
English & Diving
At Salina Beach Resort, we offer students the opportunity to take part in a diving course alongside their language course. The English course may take place either in the morning or in the afternoon, while the diving course is scheduled before or after the language lessons. The diving course can be started on any available course start date.
The 2-week diving course (PADI Open Water Certification) is particularly suitable for beginners and includes 5 theory lessons, 5 orientation dives and 4 open-water dives.
The advanced diving course includes 5 open-water dives and can also be booked for just 1 week. An Open Water Certificate is required to participate in the advanced course.
All diving equipment is provided. A complimentary shuttle bus service takes participants to and from the diving club. A medical certificate is required.
Please note that participants must be at least 14 years old to take part in diving activities.
