LANGUAGE COURSES in Sliema
English Language Courses for Students aged 12 to 20 (A1 to C2)
Our English language courses for students are part of our student language programmes in Malta Sliema. They are offered at levels A1 to C2 and enable children and teenagers to learn English quickly. The courses are ideal for students who would like to learn English in Malta during the school holidays.

Language courses
Main Course English (12–17 years)
The Main Course is the classic English course for students in Malta-Sliema and is usually booked as a two-week language stay. It is designed for participants who would like to systematically improve their English skills and apply them in an international learning group.
-
Each week includes 20 group lessons. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. The classes focus on vocabulary, grammar, listening comprehension and especially active speaking.
-
The learning groups are medium-sized. On average, twelve participants learn together, with a maximum of fifteen. This creates a lively classroom environment with many opportunities for conversation and regular language use.
-
Participants study at all levels from A1 to C2. The course is suitable both for students with little prior knowledge and for advanced learners.
Learning success is achieved through a combination of structured lessons, regular revision and active language practice in the group.
Main Course English Mini Group (12–17 years)
This course corresponds in content to the Main Course, but takes place in significantly smaller groups. It is suitable for students who benefit from more individual attention.
-
Each week includes 20 group lessons. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. The lessons focus on vocabulary, grammar, listening comprehension and especially active speaking.
-
The groups are considerably smaller than in the Main Course. On average, three participants learn together, with a maximum of six. This means students speak more frequently and receive more direct feedback.
-
Participants study at all levels from A1 to C2.
Learning progress in the mini group is particularly direct, as the teacher can focus more closely on individual students and the amount of active speaking time is higher.
Abitur Crash Course English (16–17 years)
The Abitur Crash Course is designed for students who want to specifically improve their English with a focus on the final school examinations. It combines general language instruction with additional subject-specific preparation.
-
Each week includes 20 group lessons plus 10 lessons of Abitur preparation. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. The focus is on language practice, reading comprehension, expression and typical task formats used in the English Abitur exam.
-
The learning groups are internationally composed and include an average of twelve participants, with a maximum of fifteen. Goal: 15 points in the Abitur.
-
Participants study at all levels from A1 to C2. The course is suitable for students who want to build on existing English skills while also working specifically on school requirements.
Learning progress is more intensive than in the Main Course, as it combines general language training with clear subject-specific focus.
Abitur Crash Course English (18–20 years)
The structure of this course corresponds to the Abitur Crash Course for 16–17-year-olds, but it is designed for older students, A-level candidates and school leavers.
-
As in the younger programme, the course includes 20 group lessons plus 10 lessons of Abitur preparation per week. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes.
-
The international learning groups consist of an average of twelve participants, with a maximum of fifteen, and allow for intensive language practice and subject-focused development.
-
Participants study at all levels from A1 to C2.
