Language courses

English Language Courses & Lessons

Our English courses at Malta Sliema Campus include the Standard Course, Standard Course 30 Plus, Super Intensive Course, Standard Course Mini Group, Business English Course, Standard Course Plus 5 and the One-to-One Intensive Course 15.

  • 20 or 30 English group lessons per week (45 minutes each), also available in mini groups or as an officially recognised educational leave programme.

  • Combination Courses and One-to-One Tuition:
    Standard Course Plus 5, combining group lessons with additional individual tuition.

  • One-to-One Intensive Course 15, including 15 individual lessons per week.

  • Business English and 30 Plus:
    Business English Course for participants who wish to focus on professional communication and workplace-related topics, standard Course 30 Plus for adults who prefer to study in a more age-appropriate learning environment.

All English courses are available for adults aged 18 and over and cater for levels ranging from complete beginners (A0) to advanced learners (C2).

    School leavers aged 18 and over, university students, recent graduates and young professionals.

Educational leave

Study Abroad in Malta as Educational Leave

Our study abroad programmes in Malta are officially recognised as educational leave in numerous German federal states. We offer English language programmes with accommodation that allow employees to improve their English while making use of their educational leave entitlement. The Super Intensive Course with 30 lessons per week meets the legal requirements for educational leave and enables participants to study English in Malta without using their regular annual holiday allowance.

    Single or twin room with half board and Wi-Fi. Travel to school by public transport.

  • Campus Residence:
    Single or twin room without meals included. Wi-Fi available, close to the beach and within walking distance of the school.

  • Day's Inn Studio:
    Single or twin room with Wi-Fi and access to a swimming pool. Walking distance to the school.

German citizens require a valid national identity card or passport to enter Malta.

When should I book?

We can usually accommodate last-minute bookings. The main limitation is typically flight availability. We recommend booking at least two weeks before departure.

How much does a study abroad programme in Malta – Sliema Campus cost?

A two-week summer programme with 20 English lessons per week and accommodation in a host family in a single room with half board costs £1,639.

Do I need a visa for Malta?

A deposit of 20% of the total programme price is payable upon booking, subject to a minimum payment of £200. The remaining balance must be paid 28 days before departure.

Additional costs may include flights, personal expenses and, depending on the accommodation selected, extra nights, airport transfers, meal supplements or special dietary requirements.

What happens on the first day?

A placement test takes place on the first day of classes. You will then be assigned to the most appropriate language level.

Is a study abroad programme suitable for solo travellers?

Yes. As with all our programmes for adults, most participants travel to Malta independently. Many people make new international friends from around the world from the very first day.

Who will I meet?

You will meet international participants from a wide range of countries and age groups.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

Yes. Bed linen and towels are provided in the accommodation. However, we recommend bringing an additional towel for the beach.

When do lessons take place?

Depending on the course and availability, lessons may take place in the morning, afternoon or evening. You may indicate a preferred timetable when booking.

Can I book the course without accommodation?

Yes. We will be happy to provide you with the course price without accommodation.

Are these programmes suitable for school students?
