LANGUAGE SCHOOL in Florence
At our language school in Florence, you will enjoy lively and inspiring days in the heart of this cultural capital – and within just a few weeks, you will be speaking fluent Italian. Our courses are suitable for both beginners and advanced learners, and participants come from all over the world.
Location & Facilities:
Our school is located in the heart of Florence, close to the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and excellent restaurants. The school is housed in a beautiful historic palazzo, with some classrooms offering views of the cathedral’s dome. Within minutes, you can reach the very centre of this world-famous city.

The school features bright, spacious classrooms, a lovely rooftop terrace overlooking the Duomo, a student lounge, a screening room, a small cafeteria, and free Wi-Fi throughout the building.

Organised Leisure Programme:
After lessons, our friendly school team organises a variety of activities for students, such as group dinners at local restaurants, movie nights, guided tours of Florence, and wine cellar visits. Excursions are also offered to other fascinating cities such as Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano, and the Cinque Terre.

LISA! Language Courses:

Courses begin every Monday. If the start date falls on a public holiday, lessons begin on Tuesday. Courses for beginners start every second Monday (see calendar for details).

Courses are suitable for all levels, from beginner (A1) to near-native speaker (C2).

During your stay, you may choose accommodation with a host family or in a shared apartment with other international students (see Accommodation section).

Standard Course Plus Options:
In Florence, students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Italian culture after their lessons.
Available options include:

Italian & Wine: 3 lessons per week about wines, grape varieties, and wine regions

Italian & Drawing: 6 lessons per week including materials – focusing on techniques and model drawing

Italian & Cooking: 3 lessons per week dedicated to preparing traditional Italian dishes

Intensive Plus Courses:
Our language school also offers the opportunity to develop professional skills and acquire specialised vocabulary in various fields. This professional training consists of an additional 10 lessons per week.

Language & Culture Course:
Our Language and Culture Course is designed for students aged 50 and over who wish to learn Italian with peers of a similar age and explore Italian art, history, and lifestyle. After lessons, participants enjoy a rich cultural programme including excursions, workshops, and group activities, such as:

Travelling Classroom – Italian Journey
We also offer students the opportunity to combine different destinations within Italy – Florence, Milan, Turin, and Viareggio. Each course must be attended for a minimum of one week per location. Our schools are happy to assist with organising travel between cities (travel costs are not included in the course fee).
