Our English study trips in Perth take place on the campus of Strathallan School. The 62-hectare campus is located just outside the small city of Perth, north of Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh. English lessons, meals, and most activities take place directly on campus. - Supervision:
All our Language courses for students are supervised programmes. Care and supervision are provided by trained group leaders and teachers. There are certain intervals (for example, on the way to class) when students are independent and not supervised. Our language school offers 24-hour security presence, video surveillance, and secure access systems. We are happy to provide detailed advice.

Your son or daughter will stay in a residence in double or multi-bed rooms. Boys and girls are accommodated separately. Students receive full board in the cafeteria. Packed lunches are provided during excursions.

Lessons:
Our study trips in Perth are suitable for children and teenagers aged 8 to 17. Classes are formed according to age groups (8–12 and 13–17 years). Lessons take place Monday to Friday mornings. In addition to the main course with activities, we offer two additional options: English & Riding or English & Golf. -

Travel:

At the airport, your son or daughter will be warmly welcomed by our group leaders and accompanied to the accommodation. Arrival and departure should take place on Sundays between 09:00 am and 3:00 pm.

The Strathallan School campus provides excellent opportunities for a wide range of activities. After morning lessons, students can choose from various options such as volleyball, rugby, football, table tennis, or paddling. Every day, students have the opportunity to swim in the large on-site pool. In the evenings, we organise talent shows, quiz nights, discos, and karaoke. On Saturdays and Sundays, we take full-day trips to Edinburgh to visit major sights such as Edinburgh Castle. Further excursions include Glasgow, Perth, and Scotland’s beautiful landscapes. In the afternoons, additional sports options such as riding or golf can be booked. The activities programme is an essential part of our educational concept and significantly contributes to learning success.

By when should I book Perth for my child?
Please book as early as possible. Popular course dates are often fully booked as early as January for the Easter and summer holidays. Ideally, you should book your child’s Language course for students in December for the upcoming Easter or summer break. In many destinations, we can usually accommodate last-minute bookings as well. However, availability is often limited when it comes to flights. The later you book, the more expensive the airfare is likely to be. Give us a call for detailed advice — we will be happy to take the time to support you personally and answer all your questions.
How much free time will my child have?
All distances on campus are short and easy to manage. Your child will be fully engaged throughout the day with lessons and activities. For children who prefer more independent free time during their language holiday, we recommend our study trips to Malta or Brighton.
How much does a language trip to Perth cost?
A 2-week language trip with 20 English lessons per week and accommodation in a residence with full board costs £2659. The extensive activities programme, all airport transfers, the language course, and accommodation are included in the total price.
Can my friend/boyfriend/girlfriend/brother/sister share a room with me?
We are happy to arrange shared accommodation for friends or family members.
Is there a placement test at the beginning of the course?
Yes, students take a placement test on the first day of school and are then assigned to the appropriate level.
When do I have to pay?
Upon conclusion of the contract (after receiving the booking confirmation and security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the total price is due, with a minimum payment of €200, plus any applicable insurance premiums. The remaining balance must be paid 28 days before departure. Parents will find all relevant details on the invoice.
Are there similar programmes in the UK?
