By when do I need to book the family programme?
We can usually accommodate last-minute bookings. The main limitations are typically flights and accommodation. We recommend booking at least 4 weeks before departure.

What does a typical day look like in the Exeter family programme?
English lessons for children, teenagers, and adults take place in the morning. From Monday to Friday, an afternoon leisure programme for children and teenagers is included in the price. Adults can book this programme optionally.

How much does a language trip to Exeter cost?
A 2-week language trip with 32 English lessons per week and accommodation with a host family including full board costs £1,899 for adults and £2,169 for children aged 11 to 17.

Is there a placement test at the beginning of the language trip?
Yes, a placement test takes place on the first day of school. Students and adults are then assigned to the appropriate level. In Exeter, absolute beginners (A1) are only accepted in the children’s course (ages 7–10).

When do I need to make payment?
Upon conclusion of the contract (after receiving the travel confirmation and security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the total travel price, at least €200, plus any insurance premiums, is due. The remaining balance must be paid 28 days before departure. Parents will find all relevant details on the invoice.
