Location & Facilities:

Our language school in Faro is situated in the heart of the city centre, just a few minutes from the harbour and the city’s main attractions. The school has 6 bright classrooms, a balcony, and a small kitchen. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the school for all students.
 

Organised Leisure Programme:

The school arranges three different activities each week, including film screenings and lectures at the school, guided tours of museums and monuments, evening trips to bars and traditional dinners, as well as half-day visits to local sights on Saturdays, giving students an authentic impression of Portuguese life and culture.

LISA! Language Courses:

• Our language courses start every Monday. If the course start falls on a public holiday, it will begin on Tuesday. Beginner courses start on fixed dates (see the calendar).

• Our language courses in Faro are suitable for levels from beginner (A1) to near-native (C2).

• During your language stay, you can choose to live with a host family or in shared accommodation (see accommodations)

Course Schedule:

On the arrival day of your LISA! language trip, you will check into your accommodation. On the first day of school, students are placed in levels according to their knowledge to ensure optimal learning. After lessons, there is plenty of time to explore the city. The school offers activities several times a week. The school team is happy to provide tips on where to go out, shop, find the best coffee, and see which festivals are taking place. Everyone can also explore the area independently. You will always find like-minded people to explore with. Interacting with locals is an excellent way to practise and deepen your learning. Staying with a host family has the added benefit of allowing you to apply what you have learned immediately. Shopping trips and nights out provide many opportunities to speak Portuguese.
