Italian language courses for students aged 12 to 17

Our Italian language courses for students are part of our language holidays for young learners in Trieste, which take place during the summer holidays. Stroll through the beautiful old town and along the harbour, order an ice cream at a traditional gelateria, and enjoy the summer!

Language course

Standard Italian Course (12–17 years)

The Standard Course is the classic Italian language course for young learners in Trieste. It combines structured Italian lessons with small learning groups, supervised leisure activities and a summer course destination by the sea.

There are 20 group lessons per week. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. Classes take place from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 1 pm, and are conducted entirely in Italian.

The learning groups remain small. On average, 10 participants study together, with a maximum of 12. This gives students plenty of opportunities to speak for themselves and receive direct feedback from their teachers.

The language courses are suitable for all language levels.

Progress is achieved through lessons in small groups, the exclusive use of Italian during classes and the direct application of the language in everyday situations. Students do not only learn in the classroom, but also experience the language through daily interaction and the shared leisure programme.

If you would like to make your child's language holiday (for students aged 16 and over) more affordable, our school in Trieste also offers the option of joining an adult language course without the supervised leisure programme.
