REASONS FOR A LISA! STUDENT LANGUAGE TRIP TO ANTIBES:
- Right by the sea:
The sandy beach in Antibes is lined with palm trees and the sun shines down from a clear sky. The Côte d’Azur around Antibes is known for sunny beaches and turquoise sea. The especially lovely old town, with narrow lanes and inviting cafés and boutiques, is perfect for a stroll. - Supervision:
All our student language trips are by the sea and are supervised. Supervision is provided by host families and teachers. If your child stays in one of our student residences, lessons are held on site, or a shuttle bus will take them to the school. There are intervals, for example on the way to school, when your children are independent and not supervised. We will advise you in detail. - The lessons:
Our programmes in Antibes are suitable for children (8 to 11) and teenagers (12 to 17). Classes are arranged by age. In spring and autumn, lessons take place at our school, a beautiful villa with a large green garden, not far from the old town and the sea. In the summer months, lessons are held at our student residences, which have a swimming pool. On our premium course, lessons take place year-round at our school villa.

FURTHER INFORMATION:
- Accommodation:
Your son or daughter will stay with a friendly French-speaking host family, or in one of our student residences in a shared room. Students receive full board, i.e. breakfast and a hot dinner; lunch is in the cafeteria, with packed lunches on excursion days. - French with the family:
At our school in Antibes you can learn French as a family, with parents and children taught in separate classes. This way the whole family can combine a relaxing holiday with learning a language. - Quality standards:
All our teachers specialise in teaching French as a foreign language. Our school is accredited by SOUFFLE, Jeunesse et Sports (of the French Ministry of Sport and Education), FLE and EAQUALS. - Arrival:
Flights are not included in the price of our language courses for teenagers. We recommend flying to Nice airport. Travel is unaccompanied. Arrival must be on Sundays and departure on Saturdays. At Nice airport or Antibes station your son or daughter will be warmly met by our group leaders and taken to their accommodation. Should your child travel with the UM service, an extra transfer cost may apply.
The great LISA! leisure programme in Antibes – all-inclusive:
The extensive LISA! leisure programme is included in the price, forms part of the teaching concept and makes a major contribution to learning success. After the course, in the afternoons and evenings, our group leaders and the school organise activities for the students. Weekends are reserved for half-day or full-day excursions and for time with the host family (if a host family has been booked). The programme is adjusted on site at short notice to reflect the students’ interests. It complements the course perfectly and contributes significantly to progress.
In Antibes, students aged over 16 may stay out later in the evenings: during the week until 10 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays until 1 am. Children aged 8 to 12 may not leave the campus without supervision.

Customer questions and answers::
When should I book Antibes for my child?
Please book as early as you can. Popular dates are often fully booked by January for Easter and summer. Ideally, book in December for the following Easter or summer holidays. In some locations we can also arrange very late bookings. The flight is usually the tricky part. The later you book, the more expensive the ticket tends to be. Please call us for detailed advice.
How much free time will my child have?
Distances are short and easy to manage. Your child will be busy all day with lessons and activities. For children who would like more independent free time on their study holiday, we recommend our French language trips in Montpellier.
How much does a language trip to Antibes cost?
A two-week trip with 20 French lessons per week and full-board accommodation in a residence or host family in a shared room costs £2159. The extensive leisure programme, all airport transfers, the course and the accommodation are included in the price.
Can I share a room with my friend/boyfriend/girlfriend/brother/sister?
We are happy to arrange shared accommodation for friends or family members.
Is there a placement test at the start of the language trip?
Yes, a placement takes place on the first day. Students are then placed in the appropriate level.
When do I have to pay?
On conclusion of the contract (after receipt of the booking confirmation and the security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the total price is due, at least £200, plus any insurance premiums. The remaining balance is payable 28 days before departure. Parents will find all the details on the invoice.
