At our language school in New York – Campus we also offer English in combination with a unique insight into New York’s fashion and creative industries. You will explore aspects of fashion, design and art, and gain language skills for use in the creative sector, alongside valuable real-life experience.

This 4-week programme combines morning classes with 8 weekly lessons focusing on fashion and art. It begins on fixed dates (see calendar). The programme starts with classroom lessons, focusing on the development of fashion and art in the USA over the last 100 years. It also includes two fashion-related excursions, such as visits to the Museum of FIT, the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET), or explorations of fashion districts like the Garment District or 7th Avenue. Depending on the season, students may also attend major fashion and design events such as New York Fashion Week.

The schedule of your course:

On the day of arrival you move into your accommodation. On your first school day you take a placement test and are assigned to the appropriate level. Lessons may alternate between mornings and afternoons depending on level. After class there is enough time to explore the city. The school organises weekly activities. The team will gladly give advice on nightlife, shopping, coffee spots and festivals. Everyone can also explore New York independently – there are always like-minded people to join. Staying with a host family offers the chance to practise English daily in everyday life, shopping and going out.
