The English language course for children and teenagers aged 12 to 20 takes place directly on the campus of St. John’s University in New York. Manhattan can be reached in approximately 60 minutes by public transport.

Location & Facilities:

The modern and green campus of St. John’s University is located in the borough of Queens, east of Manhattan. Situated in a quiet residential area, the campus offers fantastic views of the New York skyline. The spacious grounds feature modern classroom buildings, sports facilities, and student residences.

The classrooms are large and equipped with modern technology. There are numerous common areas and cafés on campus. Here, you will learn English together with new friends from all over the world in a relaxed, university-style atmosphere. Breakfast and lunch are served in the campus cafeteria. For dinner, students receive a prepaid card that allows them to dine at selected nearby restaurants of their choice.

Your teachers are specially trained to teach young learners using the most modern and effective methods. They deliver an excellent programme designed to help you become fluent in English. After lessons, an exciting and well-organised leisure programme awaits you.

English & Coding:

This course is primarily aimed at students aged 15 and above who would like to learn the basics of web development in English. The course begins with the theoretical foundations of web development, followed by practical application and hands-on experimentation. Course content includes:

• HTML as the basic structure of websites

• CSS for colours, styles, and layouts

• Mini website projects

• Interactive tasks

• Creating your own website

• Arrival day is Monday and departure day is Sunday.

How the Junior Language Course Works:

On the arrival day of their LISA! Study Abroad programme, your child will be welcomed at the airport by our supervisors. On the first day of school, students are assigned to the appropriate level according to their current language skills. During the school holidays, students significantly improve their English fluency. Our junior study abroad programmes help prepare your son or daughter professionally for school graduation exams or improve their school grades. After lessons in the afternoon and evening, our group leaders organise a varied leisure programme together with the language school. Weekends are reserved for half-day or full-day excursions. Please note that there are certain periods during which students are not supervised.
