By when should I book Uppingham for my child?
Please book as early as possible. Popular course dates are often fully booked as early as January for the Easter and summer holidays. Ideally, you should book your child’s Language course for students in December for the upcoming Easter or summer holidays. In many destinations, we can usually accommodate last-minute bookings. However, availability is often limited when it comes to flights. The later you book, the more expensive the flight ticket is likely to be.

Can my child manage the way to school?
The residence is only a short walk from the classrooms. If your child can manage the school route independently at home, this will not be a problem in Uppingham either.
How much does a language trip to Uppingham cost?
A 2-week language trip with 20 English lessons per week and accommodation in a residence with full board costs £2359. The extensive activities programme, all airport transfers, the language course, and accommodation are included in the total price.
Can my friend/boyfriend/girlfriend/brother/sister and I be placed in the same class?
Placement is based on English level as well as age. Students travelling together can usually be placed in the same class.
Do I need to bring bed linen and towels?
Bed linen is provided by the residence. Students must bring their own towels.
Is there a placement test at the beginning of the course?
Yes, students take a placement test on the first day of school and are then assigned to the appropriate level.
When do I have to pay?
Upon conclusion of the contract (after receiving the booking confirmation and security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the total price is due, with a minimum payment of €200, plus any applicable insurance premiums. The remaining balance must be paid 28 days before departure. Parents will find all relevant details on the invoice.
