LISA! Study Abroad Language courses for students are perfectly organised, carefully supervised, and modern language programmes for children and teenagers abroad. The language course for students aged 7 to 17 takes place on the campus of Strathallan School.

Location & Facilities:

The 62-hectare campus of Strathallan School is located just outside the small city of Perth, north of Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh. English lessons, accommodation, meals, and most activities all take place directly on campus. Our students enjoy a wonderful summer filled with sports and activities in Scotland’s beautiful natural surroundings.

The campus features several school buildings, residences, a library, an assembly hall, and a cafeteria where students have their meals. The facilities also include a large heated swimming pool and a sports hall. The buildings are surrounded by extensive sports fields and tennis courts.

Our teachers are specially trained to teach teenagers using the most up-to-date methods. They deliver an excellent academic programme that helps students quickly gain confidence and fluency in English. After lessons, students take part in a fantastic, well-organised activities programme.

LISA! Study Abroad Language Courses for Students:

• At our school in Perth, your child will be warmly and attentively cared for. Our group leaders and school team are always available as points of contact.

• Our Language courses for students in Perth start on fixed dates during the summer, which you can find in the course calendar.

• During their stay, students live in a residence directly on campus (see accommodation).

English & Riding:

This option combines the main course in the morning with riding lessons in the afternoon. Students receive an additional 10 hours of riding lessons per week. All riding levels are welcome, whether beginners or experienced riders.
 

English & Golf:

This option combines the main course in the morning with golf lessons in the afternoon. Students receive an additional 10 hours of professional golf training per week. The golf course is located in the beautiful Scottish countryside of Perthshire.
 

How the Language Course Works:

On arrival day, your child will be welcomed at the airport or train station by our supervisors or host family. On the first day of school, students are placed into appropriate levels according to their language ability. During the school holidays, your child will build fluency in spoken English. Our Language courses for students also help prepare your son or daughter professionally for school exams and improve academic performance. After lessons in the afternoon and evening, our group leaders and school team organise a varied and exciting activities programme. Weekends are reserved for half-day or full-day excursions. Please note that there are certain periods during which students are not supervised.
