FAQ
Customer Questions and Answers (FAQ)
By when should Jersey be booked for my child?
Please book as early as possible. Popular course dates are often fully booked as early as January for the Easter and summer holidays. Ideally, you should book your child’s Language course for students in December for the upcoming Easter or summer holidays. In many destinations, we can usually accommodate last-minute bookings. However, availability is often limited when it comes to flights. The later you book, the more expensive the airfare is likely to be. Please give us a call for detailed advice — we will be happy to take the time to support you personally and answer all your questions.
Can my child manage the journey to school?
Several children stay in both the host families and the residence. This has the advantage that journeys to school can be made together. The journey to school is usually made independently or together with other children by public transport.
How much does a language course to Jersey cost?
A 2-week language course in the summer with 20 English lessons and accommodation in a host family with full board costs 1755 £. The extensive leisure programme, all airport transfers, the language course and accommodation are included in the course price.
Can friends, siblings or family members share a room?
Accommodation together with friends or family members can gladly be arranged.
Is there a placement test at the beginning of the language course?
Yes, a placement test takes place on the first day of school. The students are then placed in the appropriate language level.
When does payment have to be made?
Upon conclusion of the contract (after receiving the travel confirmation and the security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the travel price is due, with a minimum amount of £200, plus any insurance premiums. The remaining balance of the travel price must be paid 28 days before departure. Parents will find all relevant information on the invoice.
Are there similar language trips in the United Kingdom?
