At our language school in the heart of Auckland, language students from all over the world learn in international classes with a wonderful view over Albert Park.

Location & Facilities:

Our language school is located in the city centre, close to cafés, restaurants, and public transport. The location of the school is truly unique: the two historic buildings are surrounded by the trees and gardens of Albert Park. Directly opposite the school lies the University of Auckland, where our students can conveniently buy their lunch, browse in the bookshop, or purchase travel tickets.

Organised Leisure Programme:

Our school offers numerous leisure activities in the afternoons and at weekends. Particularly popular with course participants are the communal pub evenings and cinema visits, the rugby matches, and the city tours. The school team is also happy to organise excursions to other New Zealand cities.

LISA! Language Courses:

• Our language trips to Auckland start every Monday. If the course start date falls on a public holiday, the course will begin on the Tuesday (please see the calendar).

• Our language trips to Auckland are suitable for all proficiency levels, from beginner (A1) to near-native speaker (C2).

  During your language trip, you will stay in carefully selected accommodation (see Accommodation).

The Structure of Your Language Course:

On the day of arrival for your LISA! language trip, you will move into your accommodation. On the first day at school, you will be placed into levels according to your existing knowledge. This guarantees optimal learning success. After classes, there is plenty of time to explore the city. The school offers activities several times a week. The school team is happy to give tips on where to go out and shop, where to find the best coffee, and which festival is currently taking place.

Everyone is free to explore the destination independently as well. There will always be like-minded people to join you on your adventures. Interacting with locals provides an excellent opportunity to practise what you have learned and to deepen your knowledge. Accommodation with a host family offers the advantage of being able to use your new language skills straight away. When shopping or going out, there are countless opportunities to speak English.

Language Diplomas:

At our language school in Auckland, we offer the following exam preparation course: preparation for IELTS.

Please note:

• Participation in exam courses requires an advanced language level (IELTS: B1). Admission to a preparation course therefore depends on the result of the placement test before the start of the course.

• The exams usually take place in the final week of the course. Therefore, only limited teaching is usually possible during this time.

• The examination fee must always be paid on site. Please refer to the price table for information regarding the amount of the examination fee.

• Registration for the IELTS examination is carried out online in advance!

• IELTS: Exam registration should be completed a few weeks in advance. Further information and the registration form can be found at www.ielts.org.
