Organised activity programme

In Malta we organise trips to the beautiful capital of Valletta, which was declared UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its architecture and cultural richness. We go on a trip to Mdina and visit its magnificent cathedrals, fortresses and palaces. In addition, we travel to the island of Gozo, which lies 5 kilometres from Malta. In Homer´s Odyssey Odysseus was held captive for seven years by nymph Calypso on this island.
 

If you book your language course from January, you will see Gozo full of blooming flowers and trees. Tours around the harbour and boat tours at sunset are very popular among students. Wine tasting, diving and horse-riding courses can also be organised.

Language certificates:

At our language school in Sliema, we offer the following exam preparation courses: Preparation for the Cambridge Certificate (FCE, CAE, CPE), IELTS and TOEFL.

Please note:

• You must have an intermediate level in English (FCE: A2; CAE: B2; CPE: C1; IELTS: B1; TOEFL: B1). Enrolment on the preparation course is subject to a grading test before the start of the course. If you already have a higher level of English, there will be the possibility to start the course later.

• The exams normally take place in the last week of the course, therefore we can only offer limited teaching in that week.

• You must register for the TOEFL and IELTS exams online in advance!
  IELTS: You must register a few weeks in advance. You will find the registration form and further information at www.ielts.org.
  TOEFL: You should book your exam 3 months in advance at www.ets.org/toefl/.

• You must pay the exam fee while in Sliema. Please consult the table regarding how much the exam fee will be.

• Cambridge Certificates: You will find dates of the written exams (papers 1-3) in the table. According to our previous experience, the oral exams (papers 4-5) mostly take place a week after the end of the course, therefore prices may include extra week accommodation. As it is possible that the dates may be postponed, we recommend that you opt for a flexible flight reservation.
