Our English language courses are part of our language travel programs to Cambridge City. They start on fixed dates throughout the year and combine general English instruction with more intensive course formats, Business English, IELTS preparation, cultural programs, or one-to-one private lessons.

Standard course

The Standard Course is the classic English language program in Cambridge City. It combines structured lessons within an international learning group with plenty of opportunities to apply English in everyday situations.

• 20 lessons per week (45 minutes each)

• Class size: Average of 12, maximum of 15 participants

• Available for all proficiency levels

Accommodation: Depending on the booking, options include host families, host families for under-18s (U18), Student Castle studios, Newmarket Road residence, or summer residences.

Super-Intensive course

The Super Intensive Course is designed for participants who wish to learn English particularly intensively in a short period of time.

• 30 lessons of group instruction per week (45 minutes each)

• Class size: Average of 12, maximum of 15 participants

•  All proficiency levels

Standard course + Cultural program

The Standard Course with Cultural Program is designed for participants who wish to combine learning English with activities and themes centered on city life.

• 20 lessons of group instruction plus 10 "English in the City" lessons per week (45 minutes each)

• Class size: Average of 12, maximum of 15 participants

• Language level B1 and above

This format combines structured language instruction with additional learning outside the classic classroom setting. Ten lessons per week take place at or within the city's landmarks and sights.

Super-Intensive Business Course

The Super-Intensive Business Course is designed for participants who want to use English specifically for their professional careers.

• 20 lessons of group instruction plus 10 "English for Work" group lessons per week (45 minutes each)

• Class size: Average of 12, maximum of 15 participants

• Language level: B1 and above

This format is ideal for participants who wish to expand their language skills for meetings, professional communication, and international work environments.

Standard course Plus 5

The Standard Course Plus 5 is designed for participants who wish to combine group instruction with personalized individual training.

• 20 lessons of group instruction (45 minutes each) plus 5 lessons of one-to-one tuition (60 minutes each) per week

• Class size: Average of 12, maximum of 15 participants

• Levels: All proficiency levels

This format combines the advantages of an international group setting with a targeted focus on personal language priorities.

Star Course 15

The Star Course 15 is designed for participants who wish to learn in a completely individual and particularly intensive manner.

• 15 lessons of one-to-one tuition per week (60 minutes each)

• Format: Private lessons, 1 participant

• Levels: All proficiency levels

 Individual instruction allows for maximum flexibility and precise alignment with personal learning goals.

IELTS Preparation course 20

The IELTS Preparation Course is designed for participants who wish to prepare specifically for the IELTS exam.

• 20 lessons of group instruction per week (45 minutes each) focused on IELTS preparation

• Class size: Average of 12, maximum of 15 participants

• Levels: From B1 to C1 proficiency

This course is ideal for participants who want to specifically develop their English skills in line with the requirements of the IELTS examination.
