Our language school in Brighton is based on a newly built, modern campus. The school is located right next to a park and not far from the North Laine district. Trendy shops, cafés, and restaurants are all within easy reach.

Location & Facilities:

Our language school in Brighton is situated on a modern, five-storey campus in the north of Brighton. The area around London Road has recently been revitalised and restored; it is home to many students and offers numerous trendy shops, lively cafés, and vibrant bars.

The campus itself is brand new and features modern classrooms, a bright and airy cafeteria, a well-stocked library, and on-site accommodation. The blue sea, the beach, and the lively city centre can be reached in just 15 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by bus.

Organised Leisure Programme:

After the English language course, our friendly school team is happy to organise joint activities such as trips to the beach and pier, sports events, cinema or karaoke evenings, or creative workshops. Every week, three to five free activities are offered, as well as lectures on cultural or language-related topics.

Particularly popular among our students are excursions to local museums, evening dance classes, and social outings to pubs and clubs. Trips to the South Downs, the Seven Sisters National Park, Lewes, or Eastbourne can also be arranged on request. Optional weekend excursions to London, Oxford, Cambridge, Windsor Castle, or Stonehenge can be booked on site.

LISA! Language Courses:

• Our language trips start every Monday. If the course start date falls on a public holiday, the course begins on Tuesday (see the calendar).

• Our language trips in Brighton are suitable for all levels, from complete beginner (A0) to advanced (C2).

• During the summer months, lessons may alternate between mornings and afternoons.

• Our Super-Intensive Course in Brighton is recognised as Bildungsurlaub (educational leave) in several federal states in Germany.

• During your language trip, you will stay in carefully selected accommodation (see Accommodation). If you book the half-board option, meals will be provided in the school cafeteria.

The Structure of Your Language Courses:

On the day of arrival for your LISA! language trip, you will move into your accommodation. On the first day at school, you will be placed into levels according to your existing knowledge. This ensures optimal learning success. After the course, there will be plenty of time to explore the city. The school offers activities several times a week.

The school team will be happy to give advice on where to go out, where to shop, where to find the best coffee, and which festivals are currently taking place.

Everyone is free to explore the city on their own as well. There will always be like-minded people to join you on your adventures. Interacting with locals provides an excellent opportunity to practise what you have learned and to consolidate your knowledge.

Accommodation with a host family offers the advantage of being able to use your new language skills straight away. Shopping and going out provide countless opportunities to speak English in everyday life.
