The LISA! Study Abroad language school in Istanbul is centrally located in the lively Beyoğlu district – the heart of western-influenced Istanbul. In the many shops, restaurants, snack bars, and bazaars, you can quickly put your newly acquired language skills into practice in everyday situations. Public transport and ferries make it easy to reach the city’s many famous landmarks.
 

Organised Leisure Programme:

Our friendly school team in Istanbul knows exactly where to find the best restaurants, the most interesting museums, and the nicest shops in the city. Day trips can also be organised, giving you even more opportunities to explore this fascinating destination.
 

LISA! Study Abroad Language Courses:

• Our study abroad programmes start every Monday. If a course start date falls on a public holiday, lessons begin on Tuesday instead (see course calendar).

• In Istanbul, Turkish is taught exclusively as one-to-one tuition.

• Our language courses in Istanbul are available for all levels, from beginner (A1) to near-native proficiency (C2).

• During your stay, you will be accommodated either with a host family or, alternatively, in a three- or four-star hotel (see accommodation options).

• Our Istanbul programme can also be combined with a language course in Izmir. We will be happy to advise you.
   

How Your Language Course Works:

On your arrival day, you will check in to your accommodation. On your first day of lessons, you will be assessed and assigned to the appropriate level according to your current knowledge. This ensures optimal learning progress. After your lessons, you will have plenty of time to explore the city. The school team is happy to recommend the best places to go out, shop, enjoy excellent coffee, or visit museums. Of course, you can also discover Istanbul independently. Practising with local people is an excellent way to consolidate what you have learned in class. Shopping, dining out, and everyday interactions offer countless opportunities to practise speaking and deepen your language skills.
