At our language school in the heart of Nerja, our students learn in an international atmosphere and can immediately put their newly acquired Spanish into practice in the surrounding restaurants, cafés and shops.

Location & Facilities:

Our school is located in Nerja’s historic centre, just a few minutes from the beach. Numerous restaurants, cafés and shops are close by. The school is housed in a typical Andalusian building with a large, lush garden. The bright, well-equipped classrooms provide a calm and inspiring learning environment.
 

Organised Leisure Programme:

Our friendly school team organises regular activities such as tapas nights, volleyball on the beach, or shared film and cooking evenings. At weekends, excursions to Málaga or paddle trips are offered.
 

LISA! Language Courses:

• Our language trips start every Monday. If the start date falls on a public holiday, lessons begin on Tuesday. Beginners start on fixed dates (see calendar).

• Courses in Nerja are suitable for all levels from beginner (A1) to advanced (C1).

• Accommodation is available in carefully selected options (see section on accommodation).

Spanish Plus Options:

In Nerja, you can combine your Spanish course with exciting activities. These programmes consist of the main course plus additional weekly sessions in your chosen field:

1. Spanish & Flamenco:
   Four dance lessons per week, maximum 10 participants, at a local dance school.
2. Spanish & Diving:
   Two hours of diving lessons per week in the afternoons.
    

LISA! 50 Plus Course:

Our 50 Plus language and culture trips in Nerja are designed for curious learners who want to explore Spain’s culture, architecture, dance and cuisine. These study trips include Spanish lessons in the mornings in small international groups, followed by cultural activities in the afternoons and evenings. Programmes offer insights into Spanish culinary traditions, architectural heritage and everyday life. Perfect for singles, couples, or friends travelling together, with participants mainly aged 50 and above.
 

Exam Preparation:

Our school in Nerja also offers preparation courses for the official D.E.L.E. exam. Please note:

• The D.E.L.E. preparation course is open even to complete beginners.

• Exams usually take place in the final week, so classes may be limited during that period.

• The exam fee is always paid locally; please refer to the table for the current amount.

• Registration should be completed online around four weeks in advance via www.dele.org

• Courses begin every Monday (except for beginners).

• The exam is held in Málaga.
