Our language school in Alicante offers course participants the opportunity to combine their Spanish course with dance or golf lessons. This allows students to immediately apply their newly acquired language skills after class and reinforce them through interaction with international participants.

Location & Facilities:

The language school is located in the center of Alicante. The Mercado Central and many small cafés and restaurants are nearby. The sea is only a 2-minute walk from the school. This small, family-run language school offers air-conditioned, modern classrooms and a library.

Organized Leisure Program:

Our friendly school team is happy to organize numerous leisure activities in the afternoons or on weekends, such as guided city tours, museum and gallery visits, sports activities, or beach parties. Trips to nearby traditional Spanish towns such as Altea, Elche, or Orihuela can also be arranged. Professional dance or golf lessons can additionally be booked in the afternoons.

LISA! Language courses:

• Our language trips begin every Monday; beginners start on fixed dates. If the course start date falls on a public holiday, lessons will begin on Tuesday (see course calendar).

• Our language trips in Alicante are suitable for all levels, from Beginner (A1) to near-native level (C2).

• During your stay, you will live with a host family or share a student apartment with other course participants (see accommodation options).

Spanish & Dance:

The dance course takes place at a specialized dance school located not far from our language school. Classes are held in the afternoon, Monday to Friday, for one hour per day. Participants mainly learn salsa, but can also practice other Latin American dances such as bachata or merengue. Minimum number of participants: 3 participants (with 1 participant: 2 hours per week; with 2 participants: 3 hours per week) Course start dates:

Spanish & Golf:

In Alicante, you have the opportunity to learn or improve your golf skills professionally at Alenda Golf Course. Lessons take place in the afternoons on three days per week: Tuesday and Thursday: 2 hours on the golf course Friday: 1 hour on the main course and 1 hour on a short course Transfer from the language school to the golf course is organized locally and is not included in the price. During the Spanish course combined with golf lessons, accommodation is only possible with a host family. Minimum number of participants: 4 participants (with 1 participant: 3 hours per week; with 2 or 3 participants: 4 hours per week). Course start date: 06.07.2026

Language & Culture Trip:

Language and culture trips in Alicante are designed for curious individuals who want to learn more about Spanish culture, architecture, salsa dancing, and cuisine. LISA! Language & Culture Trips' are educational journeys where you study Spanish in the morning. In the afternoon cultural program, you gain deeper insights into Spanish cultural and architectural history, Spanish cuisine, and everyday life. These trips are suitable for singles, couples, or friends traveling together. There is no age restriction; however, participants are generally over 50 years old. Language courses take place in the mornings in small groups, where you learn together with international participants and effectively improve your Spanish skills. All teachers specialize in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

The Cultural Program (Included in the Price)

The cultural program after the language course is already included in the price and features:

• Various excursions and visits, e.g., to a castle or museum

• Guided city tour of Alicante

• Salsa evenings

• Wine tasting or tapas tour

• Movie night

Your Course Schedule:

On the day of arrival of your LISA! Study abroad language trip, you will check into your accommodation. On your first day of school, you will be placed in the appropriate level according to your language proficiency. This ensures optimal learning success. After class, you will have plenty of time to explore the city. The school offers activities several times a week. The school team is happy to provide tips on where to go out, shop, find the best coffee, or which festival is currently taking place. You can also explore the destination independently. There will always be like-minded people to discover the city with. Interacting with locals is an excellent way to deepen and practice what you have learned in class. Staying with a host family allows you to apply your Spanish directly in everyday situations. Shopping and going out provide many opportunities to speak Spanish.
