Our teaching concept is recommended by the European Union (EU). All teachers are qualified to teach English as a foreign language. Free Wi-Fi is available in the school.

How long in advance should I book?
We can usually also handle short-term bookings. The main bottleneck is usually the flight. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks before departure.

How much does a language course in Cape Town cost?
A 2-week language course with accommodation costs about £1,070 in a single room with breakfast in a host family.

Is there a placement test at the beginning?
Yes, on the first day there is a placement test. You will then be assigned to the appropriate level (A0 to C2).

Do I need a visa for South Africa?
A stay of up to 90 days in South Africa is visa-free, after which a visa is required, which must be applied for at the embassy. For a language course lasting longer than 3 months, a study permit must be applied for. Further information on the required documents and application forms for applying for a visa at the South African Embassy in Germany can be found on the South African Embassy website. The passport required for entry must be valid for at least 30 days beyond the travel period. Upon entry, you must also present a return ticket and documents confirming the purpose and duration of your stay. Since 1 October 2014, special entry regulations have applied to travel with minor children. Further information on this can be found on the website of the Foreign Office or at the relevant consulate.

When do I need to pay?
Upon conclusion of the contract (after receipt of the booking confirmation and security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the price, but at least £200, plus any insurance premiums, is due. The balance is payable 28 days before departure.
