More than twenty bridges connect the capital city of Queensland, through which the wide Brisbane river twists and turns. The Citycats, which are small tourist boats, ride on the river offering tourists a great view of the city. Bright colonial mansions with their own docks, preserved wooden huts and modern glass facades stand side by side. Palm trees and fig trees grow in the middle of Brisbane and the roads are lined with mangroves. You can find plenty of exotic plants under the glass dome of the City Gardens. Koalas, kangaroos and crocodiles live in the nearby Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Brisbane is the most tropical city in Australia. Our language school lies in the city centre close to Chinatown.
