- Spanish and more: Course combination ‘Spanish and Dance’
Havana is one of the largest cities in the Caribbean. Havana's streets are lined with magnificent Spanish colonial-style town houses with balconies and big multicoloured windows. Classic American cars cruising through the streets and hospitable inhabitants create a friendly atmosphere in Havana. Our language school is located in a typical Cuban villa in the district of Miramar surrounded by fashion shops and splendid houses. The breath-taking white beach can by reached by foot in only 10 minutes. The centre of Havana is dominated by Capitolio Nacional, which was modelled by the Capitol US building in Washington D.C. The history of Havana is still present on the square of ‘Plaza de la Revolucion’. Havana is also famous for its brands of cigars and delicious rum. Even Ernest dreamt about these products while he was sitting in his favourite bar ’Bodeguita del Medio’ smoking cigars and drinking rum. At Upmann cigar factory visitors will learn how cigars are made of big bales of tobacco leaves. The nightlife is very lively and lasts till early morning hours. Meet locals in numerous theatres, cinemas, bars and nightclubs in the Miramar and Kasalta neighbourhood. To spend the night like a real Cuban, dance salsa and drink a glass of Cuba Libre or Mojito.
