How far in advance must I book?
We can usually handle short-notice bookings. The bottleneck is usually the flight. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks before departure.

What are the costs of a language course in Riga?
A 2-week summer course with 20 Russian lessons per week and accommodation in a single room with breakfast in a host family costs £1229.

Is there a placement test at the beginning of the course?
Yes, a placement test is held on the first school day. You will then be placed in the appropriate level (A1 to B2).

Can I book the course without accommodation?
Yes, we will gladly inform you of the price without accommodation.

Do I need a visa?
A Russian course in Riga, Latvia, has the advantage that no visa is required for entry, as the country belongs to the European Union and is a member of the Schengen area.

When do I need to pay?
Upon conclusion of the contract (after receipt of the confirmation and the security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the total fee is due, at least £200, plus any insurance premiums. The balance must be paid 28 days before departure.
