LISA! COURSES FOR TEENAGERS: HOW THEY WORK

With LISA! Language courses, teenagers meet from all over the world, to learn a language together. Students from eight years can expect a big, organised free time programme, young guides and excellent language teaching. Our personal and caring support is also of great value.

With our language courses for students, students spend a fantastic holiday with fellow travellers from all over the world - in the most beautiful places in Europe and North America. Many of our destinations lie by the sea. Our great free time programme is age appropriate and is a mixture of sporty and cultural activities. We use a combination of the best and quickest methods during your 'LISA! Language course' for students, for you to be able to speak a language fluently. Numerous students always come back to us to spend their holiday at one of our language schools, and we look after them until they complete their course.

The language classes

At our language schools, our language students are taught by the very best teachers, who have been trained specially to teach their native language as a foreign language. The teachers speak their native language from the very beginning and the students, including beginners, understand them from the first minute. The language classes usually take place in the mornings. In the afternoons and evenings, our guides and the friendly school team arrange an organised free time programme.  Please note that the participation in a free time programme is compulsory at all of our language schools for teenagers.

The full free time programme

The free time programme is already included in the price for all course destinations. So wherever you travel  to, we will go on an orientations tour through the city together, or we will greet you with a big welcome party, where you can make new friends. We go on trips to surrounding areas or travel to cities like London, Pisa or Nice and visit the wonderful sights, so you should keep hold of your camera! During the afternoons, we go to the beach to bathe, spend time at the pool or we organise typical barbecues or football and volleyball tournaments. In the evenings, we go to the cinema, shoot films, watch theatre pieces or we go to karaoke. We arrange a tricky quiz with you or you can dance to your favourite songs. Before you return back home, there's a big leaving party.

Your child's support

Your children will be very well looked after during the language course. The support, once arrived, is through our friendly school team, the guest family as well as the guides, who organise a diverse free time programme. The trained guides are responsible and know exactly what is important as parents. An emergency number is available for parents day and night. Please note that there may be times when your child is unsupervised, for example on the way to school.

The LISA! Primary test and language levels

An entry-level test will take place either before the course or on the first school day. Following this, groups with the same language knowledge are formed and your children are placed into the appropriate class for their level. In this way, they receive optimally designed classes tailored to their language skills.

Tip: Special programme 16 Plus

We offer a speical programme for students from 16 years, who have outgrown standard teenage language courses and who do not want intensive supervision. They can choose from many of our adult language courses with a minimum age of 16 years (with accommodation with a family).
