The course of your language stay:
On the arrival day of your LISA! Language Course you will move into your accommodation. On the first day of school, you will be placed into levels according to your knowledge. This guarantees optimal learning success. After the course you will have enough time to explore the city. The school offers activities several times per week. The school team is happy to give tips on where to go out and shop, where to find the best coffee and which festival is currently taking place. Everyone can also explore the holiday destination on their own. You will always find like-minded people with whom to go on a journey of discovery. The exchange with locals is also an excellent way to consolidate and practise what you have learnt. Accommodation in host families has the advantage that you can apply what you have learnt straight away. When shopping and going out, there are plenty of opportunities to speak English.

Language diplomas:
At our language school in Brighton we offer the following exam preparation courses: preparation for the Cambridge Certificate (FCE, CAE) and IELTS.
Please note:
-
Participation in the exam courses requires an advanced language level (FCE: B2; CAE: C1; IELTS: B1). Participation in a preparation course therefore depends on the result of the placement test before the course begins.
-
The exams mainly take place during the last course week. Therefore, only limited teaching is usually possible.
-
Registration for the IELTS exam must be made in advance online! IELTS: registration should be completed several weeks in advance. At www.ielts.org you will find further information and the registration form to fill in.
-
The exam fee must always be paid on site. Please refer to the information in the price table for the amount of the exam fee.
-
Note for the Cambridge Certificates: the dates of the written exams (Paper 1-3) can also be found in the table. As a rule, the oral exams (Paper 4-5) take place no later than one week after the end of the course. For this reason, the total prices of the exam courses usually include about one week of additional accommodation. However, dates may change. We therefore recommend booking a flexible flight.
-
Please note that the preparation courses are not attended exclusively by participants taking an exam at the end of the course.
