LANGUAGE SCHOOL in Bournemouth - Wootton
At our newly renovated and modern language school in the heart of Bournemouth, our students study in an international atmosphere. Numerous restaurants and shops are located nearby, offering excellent opportunities to practice newly acquired language skills in everyday situations.

Location & Facilities
The LISA! Study abroad language school in Bournemouth is located right in the city center, next to the historic St Peter’s Church. The area offers a wide range of shops, cinemas, and restaurants. The beach promenade with its pier and Ferris wheel can be reached within just a few minutes on foot.

The school is housed in a recently refurbished building with modern facilities. In addition to well-equipped classrooms, students have access to a spacious lounge area where they can meet friends during breaks, play billiards, or watch football together in the evenings.

Organized Leisure Program
The school offers a wide range of leisure activities. Upon request, the friendly school team organizes activities twice a week, such as barbecues, beach trips, or full-day excursions to London, as well as visits to the historic university city of Oxford, the legendary Stonehenge, and the historic Corfe Castle, which already served as a fortress in Roman times. Every Friday, social evenings are held where students can meet new friends from different countries.

LISA! Language courses:

Our language courses start every Monday. If the course start falls on a public holiday, lessons will begin on Tuesday (see course calendar).
Our language trips in Bournemouth – Wootton are suitable for levels from Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C1).
During your stay, you will live with a host family or, in summer, in a residence (see accommodation options).

Your Course Schedule:
On the day of arrival of your LISA! Study abroad language trip, you will check into your accommodation. On your first day of school, you will be placed in the appropriate level according to your language proficiency. This ensures optimal learning success. After lessons, you will have plenty of time to explore the city. The school offers activities several times a week. The school team is happy to provide tips on where to go out, shop, find the best coffee, or which festival is currently taking place. Students can also explore the destination independently. There will always be like-minded people to discover the city with. Interacting with locals is an excellent way to reinforce and practice what you have learned in class. Staying with a host family offers the added benefit of applying your English skills directly in everyday life. Shopping and going out provide many opportunities to speak English.

Please note:

Participation in the exam course requires at least an upper-intermediate language level (IELTS: B2). Enrollment in a preparation course therefore depends on the result of the placement test taken before the course begins.

Exams generally take place during the final week of the course. Therefore, regular lessons may be limited during that time.

Registration for the IELTS exam should be completed several weeks in advance. Further information and the registration form can be found at www.ielts.org .
