Centrally located in Playa del Carmen, our language school has a fantastic location to learn Spanish fluently surrounded by palm trees, beach and sea.  Many shops, bars and restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity.  Here you can eat typical Mexican food after the Spanish language course or browse the shops in search of a souvenir and get in touch with the open-minded Mexicans.  The fine sandy, snow-white beach is also within walking distance of our language school.

Our language school has 10 classrooms with views of the garden and a cafeteria.  Shaded palm trees in the courtyard make you want to relax there.  The Spanish course in Playa del Carmen is suitable for adults of all ages.

• Our language trips start on fixed dates on Mondays.  If the course starts on a public holiday, the course starts on Tuesday (see calendar). 

• Our courses in Playa del Carmen are suitable for beginners (A1) to intermediate (C2) levels.

•  Our main course Plus 12 is recognised as educational leave in some federal states.

•  During your language study trip, you will stay in selected accommodations (see accommodations).

Spanish & Dance:

A stay in Mexico is an excellent opportunity to learn typical Latin American dances. Our dance course, taught by an experienced dance teacher, takes place after the language course and includes a total of 5 lessons of 60 min per week.

Spanish & Cooking:

In this course, students learn the secrets of Mexican cuisine and prepare typical dishes. Participants will learn a lot of interesting facts about typical ingredients and specialties of the country. An ideal opportunity to use new Spanish vocabulary in everyday life! Typical Mexican dishes like 'Antojitos' or fish & seafood will be cooked together. The course includes a total of 5 lessons of 60 min per week.

Culture course:

At our language school in Playa del Carmen we also offer a culture course. This course is ideal for those who want to learn about Mexican culture, traditions and history. You will have 20 lessons of 55 minutes of group general Spanish + 5 lessons of Mexican History & Culture per week.

The schedule of your language course:

On the arrival day of your LISA! Language Travel you will arrive at your accommodation. On the first day of school you will be divided into levels according to your level. This is how we guarantee optimal learning success. After the course you will have enough time to explore the city. The school offers activities several times a week. The school team is happy to give tips on where to go out and store, where to get the best margarita cocktail and which festival is currently taking place. Everyone can also explore the resort on their own. You will always find like-minded people with whom you can go on a journey of discovery. Also to deepen and test what you have learned, the exchange with the locals is an excellent complement to the language lessons. Homestay accommodations have the advantage of allowing you to practice what you have learned. Shopping and going out offer many opportunities to speak Spanish.

• Participation in the exam preparation course for the D.E.L.E. exam requires a language level of at least A1.

• The exam fee is always payable on the spot. About the amount of the exam fee please see the information in the table.

• The D.E.L.E. exam takes place directly in our language school.

• You can register for the exam online at www.dele.org at least 1 month in advance.
