At our language school in San José, our students experience first-class Spanish instruction from professional teachers and benefit from small course groups.

Location & Facilities:

Our school is located on the outskirts of Heredia, about 30 min. by public transportation from San José. Bars, restaurants and cinemas are within easy reach. At the same time, you always have the lushly forested volcanic mountains in view. The view is magnificent.

In just a few minutes you can get out into the wild nature by cab or bus. A friendly, family atmosphere awaits you in our school with its beautiful quiet patio. The tropical garden of our school and the patio are perfect places to study or as a meeting point with other course participants.

Organized recreational program:

Our friendly school team is very happy to organize a variety of activities after the language course or on the weekends. Among other things, you can take part in a cooking class, relax with yoga or let off steam with Zumba. Our excursions to the city center of San José or to the waterfalls 'Los Chorros' are also very popular.

LISA! Language course:

• Our language courses start every Monday. If the course starts on a public holiday, the course starts on Tuesday (see Calendar).

• Our intensive language course Plus 10 in San José is recognized as Bildungsurlaub in several German federal states.

• Our language courses in San José are suitable for levels from beginner (A1) to advanced (C1).

• During your language study trip you will live with a host family or in a studio, which is located in the same building as the language school. The host families are very welcoming and are also within walking distance (see accommodations).

The schedule of your language course:

On the arrival day of your LISA! Language Travel you will arrive at your accommodation. On the first day of school you will be divided into levels according to your level. This is how we guarantee optimal learning success. After the course you will have enough time to explore the city. The school offers activities several times a week. The school team is happy to give tips on where to go out and store, where to get the best coffee and which festival is currently taking place. Everyone can also explore the resort on their own. There will always be like-minded people with whom you can go exploring. Also to deepen and test what you have learned, the exchange with the locals is an excellent complement to the language lessons. Homestay accommodations have the advantage of allowing you to practice what you have learned. Shopping and going out offer many opportunities to speak Spanish.
