At our language school in Fukuoka you will learn to speak, write and understand Japanese fluently for everyday life, work or study.  Our Japanese language courses are suitable for adults, beginners and advanced learners of all ages.  The course participants come from all over the world.

Location & facilities:

The LISA!  Fukuoka language school is located within walking distance of Hakata Station and is surrounded by numerous restaurants, bars and shops.  By subway you can reach the beach in 20 minutes, Fukuoka Downtown is 15 minutes away.  Fukuoka is particularly popular with long-term students because of its low cost of living.

Each room has its own charm.  Our school also has a spacious lounge with seating in the sun for breaks in between to meet like-minded people from all over the world and to make appointments to explore the city together.

Organised leisure programme:

Our friendly school team in Fukuoka knows exactly where to eat in the city, what concerts and plays are going on, and where to find the best shops.  Together with the students, the school team undertakes city tours, movie nights, goes to the cinema and organises cool barbecues on the beach.  Exciting day trips can also be organised.

LISA! language course:

• Our language courses start every Monday.  If the course starts on a public holiday, the course starts on Tuesday.  Courses for beginners start every first Monday of the month and last 4 weeks.

•  Our courses in Fukuoka are suitable for beginners (A1) to intermediate (C2) levels.

•  During your language study trip, you will stay in selected accommodations.

The course of your language course:

 On the day of arrival of your LISA!  You will arrive at your accommodation.  On the first day of school you will be divided into levels according to your level of knowledge.  In this way, we guarantee optimal learning success.  After the course, you will have plenty of time to explore the city.  The school team is happy to give tips on where to go out and shop, where to find the best karaoke bar and what festival is taking place.  Everyone can also explore the resort on their own.  Fukuoka is the best way to get around the city by subway.  There will always be like-minded people with whom you can go on a journey of discovery.  In order to deepen and try out what you have learned, the exchange with the locals is an excellent complement to the language lessons.
