LISA! Study Abroad
LANGUAGE SCHOOL in Montpellier
Our language school is under French-German management, offers quality language courses at the highest level and modern facilities. The teaching concept is aimed at students, professionals, managers and customers who want to brush up their language skills while on holiday.
Location & facilities:
Our language school is located directly in the historic city centre in a beautiful patrician house from the 18th century. Compared to some other major French cities, the cost of living in Montpellier is lower, which makes the city all the more attractive for long-term language courses of 8 weeks or more.
Organised leisure programme:
Our friendly school team organises a rich leisure programme in the afternoons such as cheese and wine tastings, excursions to Avignon, Camargue or Provence, city tours of Montpellier or French dinner evenings.

The programme of your language course:
On the day you arrive at your LISA! language course, you will arrive at your accommodation. On the first day of school, you will be divided into levels according to your level of knowledge. In this way, we guarantee optimum learning success. After the course, you will have enough time to explore the city. The school organises activities several times a week. The school team will be happy to give you tips on where to go out and shop, where to get the best coffee and which festival is currently taking place. Everyone can also explore the holiday destination on their own. There will always be like-minded people with whom you can go on a voyage of discovery. Interacting with the locals is also an excellent way of consolidating and practising what you have learnt in addition to language lessons. The advantage of staying with a host family is that you can practise what you have learnt straight away. There are plenty of opportunities to speak French when shopping and going out.

Language and culture trip to Montpellier:
Language and culture holidays in Montpellier are aimed at people aged 50 and over with a thirst for knowledge who want to learn a lot about the culture, architecture and culinary delights of France. 'LISA! Language and culture trips' are study trips where you learn French in the morning. In the afternoon, the cultural programme gives you a deep insight into French cultural history, French cuisine and the French way of life.
The cultural programme takes place after the language course in the afternoon and includes, for example, an orientation walk through the historic old town with a welcome drink or a walk through the new town, a city tour of Nimes. One afternoon will be dedicated to a visit to the Fabre Museum. At the weekend there will be an excursion to Avignon and Pond du Gard, for example. A wine and cheese tasting is also part of the leisure programme, as is a joint visit to a restaurant with the school team. Another excursion takes the participants to Sete, the Little Venice of the Langedoc region.
Language diplomas:
We offer the following exam preparation courses at our language school in Montpellier: Preparation for the language certificate Diplôme d' Etudes en Langue Française (D.E.L.F.) as well as for the certificate Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (D.A.L.F.).
