Our school in Bordeaux offers students from all over the world a familiar learning atmosphere.  All teachers are specialised in teaching French as a foreign language. Classes are suitable for students of all ages.

Location & facilities:

Our language school is located in the Bordeaux-Bastide district.  The city centre can be reached in a few minutes by tram or in 20 minutes on foot.  There are many shops, restaurants and the Botanical Garden in the area.

The spacious building was once a trading house and has been completely renovated.  The school has beautiful, modern classrooms, a spacious lounge with library, kitchen and computer workstations.

The teaching material is not included in the price and must be purchased on site (approx. 25-40 €).

Organised leisure programme:

Our friendly school team is happy to organise wine and cheese tastings, picnics, joint trips to the theatre or museum, bowling or climbing or other cultural activities.  Yoga or French cooking classes are also offered.  Trips to Saint Emilion or Arcachon Bay can also be organised.

LISA! language course:

• Our language courses start every Monday.  If the course starts on a public holiday, the course starts on Tuesday (see calendar).

• Our super-intensive language courses in Bordeaux are recognised as educational leave in Germany in several federal states.

• Our courses in Bordeaux are suitable for beginners (A1) to intermediate (C2) levels.

• During your language study trip, you will stay in a host family, a hotel or a hostel (see accommodation).

   

The course of your language course:

On the day of arrival of your LISA! You will arrive at your accommodation.  On the first day of school you will be divided into levels according to your level of knowledge.  In this way, we guarantee optimal learning success.  After the course, you will have plenty of time to explore the city.  The school offers activities several times a week.  The school team is happy to give tips on where to go out and shop, where to get the best coffee and which festival is taking place.  Everyone can also explore the resort on their own.  There will always be like-minded people with whom you can go on a journey of discovery.  In order to deepen and try out what you have learned, the exchange with the locals is an excellent complement to the language lessons.  Accommodation in a host family has the advantage that you can apply what you have learned directly.  There are many opportunities to speak French when shopping and going out.
