LISA! Study Abroad
LANGUAGE SCHOOL in Annecy
At our language school in the heart of Annecy, students learn in an international atmosphere and in the many restaurants, cafés and shops in the area, they have the opportunity to quickly put their new language skills into practice.
Location & facilities:
Our language school is located in the heart of Annecy and has been offering professional French courses for over 20 years. The historic centre with its many restaurants and cafés is just a stone's throw away. Our modern language school has a small library, a garden, a cafeteria and a student lounge. Free Wi-Fi is available within the school.
Organised recreational programme:
Our friendly school team is happy to organise city walks, cooking classes, picnics by the lake or visits to museums. Mountain hikes or cheese tastings can also be organised. Excursions to Lyon or Geneva are very popular with our students.
LISA! Language courses:
-
Our language courses start every Monday. If the course starts on a public holiday, the course starts on Tuesday (see calendar). Courses for absolute beginners start on fixed dates.
-
Our courses in Annecy are suitable for beginners (A1) to almost native speakers (C2).
-
During your language stay, you will stay with a host family, in a residence or in a studio (see accommodation). The residences are student residences and are suitable for students aged between 18 and 35.
-
In France, we offer language trips for schoolchildren during the summer holidays. For information on our supervised French language courses for children and young people, see French language trips for schoolchildren and young people.
The schedule of your language course:
You will arrive at your accommodation on the day of your LISA! language trip. On the first day of school, you will be divided into different levels according to your level of proficiency. After the course, you will have plenty of time to explore the city. The school offers activities several times a week. The school team will be happy to advise you on where to go out and shop, where to get the best coffee and which festival is taking place. Everyone can also explore the resort on their own. There will always be like-minded people to explore with. The exchange with the locals is an excellent complement to language lessons. Host family accommodation has the advantage of being able to apply what you have learned directly. There are plenty of opportunities to speak French when shopping and going out.
