At our language school in Los Angeles - Hollywood, we offer the following exam preparation courses: Preparation for the Cambridge Certificate (CAE, FCE) and TOEFL.

Please note:

• To take part in these courses, your English must be at an intermediate level (FCE: B1; CAE: B2; TOEFL: B1). Acceptance onto the course is therefore subject to an initial placement test.

• The exams normally take place in the last week of the course, therefore we can only offer limited teaching in that week. We suggest that you opt for a flexible flight reservation.

• You must book your exam online 3 months in advance at the latest at http://www.ets.org/toefl

• You must pay the exam fee while in Los Angeles. Please consult the table regarding how much the exam fee will cost.

• Cambridge Certificates: You will find dates of the written papers (papers 1-3) in the table. According to our previous experience, we have found that the oral exams (papers 4-5) mostly take place a week after the end of the course, which is why the prices may include an extra week’s accommodation. As it is possible that the dates may be postponed, we recommend that you opt for a flexible flight reservation.

English & Film »

At our school in Los Angeles – Hollywood we offer English Language Courses which give you a unique insight into the world of film production. Our program is combined with a course at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and is perfect for students who want to learn more about the the field of film production.

Students will learn about the history of film production, script development and acting. In the practical lessons you will produce your own short films or documentaries. The school has a fully-equipped Video Editing Laboratory with Apple Macs and professional software including Final Cut Pro and After Effects. Participants who opt for this course will also get free access to exhibitions and visits to film locations and studios included in the price.

To attend this course, an intermediate level of English (B1) is required. The language course takes 3 weeks in summer or 12 weeks.
