How far in advance must I book?
We can usually organise short-notice bookings. The bottleneck is usually the flight. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks before departure.

What are the costs of a language course in Milazzo?
A 2-week language course with 20 Italian lessons per week and accommodation in a single room with a host family costs £1059.

Is there a placement test at the beginning of the language course?
Yes, a placement test takes place on the first school day. You will then be placed in the appropriate level (A1 to C2).

Can I book the language course without accommodation?
Yes, we will gladly inform you of the price without accommodation.

When do I need to pay?
Upon conclusion of the contract (after receiving the travel confirmation and the security certificate), a deposit of 20% of the total price is due, at least £200, plus any insurance premiums. The balance is payable 28 days before departure.

Arrival and service:

We will gladly book you an inexpensive flight to Reggio Calabria or Catania. From there, ferry, train, and bus connections run to Milazzo. Please note the current timetables when reserving flights, as they may change at any time. From Catania there are also trains or buses to Messina (www.trenitalia.com and www.saisautolinee.it). Buses also run from Messina to Milazzo (www.giuntabus.com). The transfer from Milazzo railway or bus station to your accommodation is included in the price. We can also arrange for you to be met at Catania Airport by a transfer service for an additional charge. After consultation, our school team can organise a minibus transfer from Catania Airport to Milazzo and back at a pre-arranged time. The cost is £25 per person (one way).
