Our English courses take place in a nice and comfortable campus only 2km away from the seaside town Dún Laoghaire, the largest sailing and watersports centre in Ireland. This lovely place with charming beaches and picturesque fishing boats is not so far from Dublin’s vibrant city centre. In just 25 minutes by train you can reach the trendy boutiques and inviting cafés of Temple Bar and the banks of the River Liffey. At one end of the beautiful Dame Street is the venerable Trinity College and at the other end the Christ Church Cathedral. After classes, our school team organises sport tournaments, games or themed afternoons. You can show us your talent and creativity during our theatre and arts and crafts workshops. Our group leaders will take you to interesting museums and to a bowling alley. In the evening, you will have fun playing bingo, singing karaoke and participating in our Talent Shows. The typical Irish ‘Ceili Night’ with traditional music and dancing is particularly appreciated by our students. During the weekend, the school organises trips to the Irish National Heritage Park or we drive through the Wicklow Mountains to the “Wicklow Jail”. You will have the chance to see the monastery of Glendalough and climb the chalk mountain of Dunmore. The diverse free time programme, as well as the entry tickets to the attractions and the Local Bus & DART Pass are included in the course price.

Our LISA! Language courses for teenagers are perfectly organised and supervised. In our school in Dublin - Seaside your child will learn or improve his or her language skills in a friendly and cosy atmosphere. Your son or daughter will be supervised by the host families, the school team as well as our team leaders, who are always available for help and advice. For more information about the starting dates, please check the calendar on our website. During his or her stay, your child will be accommodated with a friendly Irish host family. In other schools in Dublin we also offer language courses for adults. You can find more information about our courses in the menu ‘adults’. Our language courses for children and teenagers involve a fully organised and supervised free-time programme. In our schools in Dublin, students from the age of 16 can also take part in a language course for adults without an organised and supervised free-time programme. Because of this option, the student can organise his or her free time individually and the course price is lower.

On arrival, your child will be welcomed by our group leaders or by his or her host family. On the first day, a language test takes place. Groups are formed on the basis of language levels therefore, teenagers are usually with others of a similar age. This guarantees excellent and successful learning. Weekly tests guarantee regular feedback and a great progress within a few weeks. The weekly personal assistance and an individual interview at the end of the course also provides an opportunity to receive a confirmation of learning success. With a LISA! language course you will open your child to a whole new world and give them the chance to broaden their horizons. We also prepare your child for his or her final exams or help improve school marks. After classes, our great group leaders and the school team will provide your child with a wide range of free-time activities. At the weekends the school organises day or half-day trips. Your child has the opportunity to spend the remaining time with his or her host family. Please be aware that there are times when your children may be unsupervised. However, our school team is always at your disposal.
Flights are not included in the price of our language courses for teenagers. We recommend flying to Dublin. Return transfers are included in the price. Although we do not provide an accompanying service for the flight itself, our friendly school team will greet all students upon arrival at the airport and accompany them to their accommodation. Arrivals and departures are possible on Saturdays and Sundays at any time. Should your child travel with the UM service, an extra transfer cost may apply.
