Totnes is one of the most beautiful places in Britain. Legend has it that this medieval market town was named by Brutus of Troy, the founder and the first king of Britain. The small town on the River Dart lives in harmony with surrounding nature and puts a great emphasis on sustainability. Totnes belongs to British 'Transition Towns' and introduced its own currency in order to support the local economy. The Totnes £10 includes a picture of the internationally famous musician, Ben Howard, who lived and worked here. British Airways Magazine declared Totnes one of 10 ’funkiest towns in the world’ due to its thriving centre for music, art, literature and design. Our students will have unforgettable learning experiences thanks to Totnes Cultural Experience course. They will have classes in museums and art galleries. Our school is located inside the historic 'Gate House'', which is a part of the city wall. Totnes is nowadays a meeting point for artists, designers, musicians and literature students.
