International participants study at our language school in Oxford and can apply their new language skills in everyday life while going to nearby restaurants, museums and shops.

Our modern school building lies in the heart of Oxford. Queen Street, Oxford’s main shopping street, is just a few steps from it. The world-famous Ashmolean Museum is also very close. Participants from all corners of the world take part in our language courses.

Organised activity programme »

Our friendly school team organises activities for our students in the afternoon or at the weekend, such as punting on the Isis river, film evenings, boat parties or international meals. A visit to the theatre to see a Shakespeare play, 'Ghost Walk, an exciting tour through the city, or a game of rounders in the park can also be arranged.

Language certificates »

At our language school in Oxford, we offer the following exam preparation courses: Preparation for the Cambridge Certificate (FCE, CAE) and IELTS.

Please note:

• Your English must be at least at an intermediate level (FCE: B2; CAE: C1; IELTS: B1). Enrolment on these courses is subject to a grading test.

• The exams usually take place in the last week of the course, therefore we can only offer limited teaching in that week.
  IELTS: Registration for this exam should be completed a few weeks in advance. You can find the registration form and further information at www.ielts.org.

• You must pay the exam fee while in Oxford. Please consult the table regarding how much the exam fee will be.

• Cambridge Certificates: You will find dates of the written exams (papers 1-3) in the table. According to our previous experience, the oral exams (papers 4-5) usually take place week after the end of the course, therefore the prices may include extra week accommodation. As it is possible that the dates may be postponed, we recommend that you opt for a flexible flight reservation.

• Please note that these preparation courses are also suitable for students who don´t want to take the final exam.
